Whole generations are brainwashed to pigeon-
Hole everyone else and that belief is the part
That keeps us apart see I could see from the start
That it’s hard when you’re made a little different
But if I can make 'em listen, then maybe they’ll be different, too

It’s crazy, we’re raised to fall in line
Yeah from a young age we’re taught to hide
What’s inside, so our need for expression
Soon becomes a dream with no means to express it
We feel trapped and can’t see there’s an exit
That’s why a lot people swallow deep and suppress it
It eats away on meaningless questions
Which feed, till aggression just leads to depression
You end up drowning in a sea of resentment
Or become another teen trying to plead for acceptance
I can’t stand it 'cos I know it’s wrong
And since I put it all together see I wrote this song
To let you know if you’ve been there, I’ve been there too
And let you know if you’re still there, you will get through, it’s true
